Well goooooooood morning and happy Monday you lovely people! Can we start by talking about how fast this summer is going? Seriously, this is already the last full week of July. How in the world did that happen? It’s craziness. This summer is seriously flying by and it definitely makes me a little sad to see how darn fast it’s going. And what’s even crazier is the fact that my sweet Ava Pearl is already two weeks old, which doesn’t even seem possible. I feel like we just brought her home from the hospital, then I blinked and we’re already two weeks into it. It’s truly been the fastest two weeks of my life, but it’s been so, so good. Baby girl is doing awesome and we’re all so smitten with that little peach. She’s definitely a keeper. And you know what else is awesome? The vintage card catalog I snagged last month at one of my favorite antique shops. You guys, this thing is so cool. I’ve been wanting a piece like this for a long time now, so I’m pretty darn excited to share it with you all today. It’s temporarily hanging out on our coffee table in the front room right now, but I just couldn’t wait any longer to share it with you all. Come seeeeeee!
Isn’t she a beauty? When I bought this I actually had no idea where I was going to put it, but it was one of those pieces I just couldn’t walk away from–I had to bring it home. For now I styled it on the coffee table in our front room, but it won’t stay here for long. I’ve got a few fun ideas for this piece, I just haven’t decided what to do with it yet.
Notice how the knobs are little wooden spools? How fun is that! I’m guessing the seller of this piece had to do a little DIY work to it and I actually love this idea. So creative.
I’m still kicking around a few ideas for what I want to do with this baby, but I’ll be sure to share what I do when I figure it out. Or maybe I’ll just leave it here and call it good, I actually love it on the coffee table. Doesn’t it kinda look like it belongs here? I think so. Or maybe I’m just delusional from the lack of sleep happening right now. Either way, it’s a really fun piece to style and I’m so happy I brought it home. I feel like this is one of those things I’ll keep forever and then hand down to my kids one day. Hopefully at least one of them is obsessed with all things vintage like their mama!
Well that’s a wrap my friends. I love sharing my vintage finds with you guys and I hope you liked seeing a little peek at this vintage card catalog today. I’d love to hear what you think and let me know if you have any stellar ideas for it!
